About
Shows up when it counts.
Keith Ramsett learned early what it means to show up. He enlisted in the North Dakota Army National Guard in 2006, deployed to Kosovo from 2009 to 2010, and stood on sandbag lines with neighbors in Fargo, Valley City and Pembina during the 2009 and 2011 Red River floods. Those years taught him that people remember who was there when it mattered.
He brings that same standard to tax work. After earning his accounting degree from North Dakota State University, with a minor in Fraud Investigation, he spent nearly a decade in public accounting, mostly at top-ranked national firms and most recently as a tax manager at a top 10 firm. He has prepared and reviewed returns for individuals, rental property owners and businesses in all 50 states, including international filings.
A mentor and former Big Four tax director trained him in the balance sheet approach, and it still defines how he works: reconcile the balance sheet first, so every number on a return ties back to something real. For clients, that means fewer surprises and a clear picture of where they stand.
Fourteen years of part-time work at SCHEELS, from 2007 to 2021, showed him what real customer service looks like. That is still the bar he sets for every client.
